A traumatic experience is any type of occasion in life that creates a physical or emotional danger to our security and possibly the lives of others. There's no one face of trauma. Because of this, an individual experiences high degree of psychological, emotional, and physical distress that briefly interrupts our capacity to go about our daily tasks in everyday life.
