The other part of emotional health is being able to recognize and respond appropriately to others’ emotions, as well.
Those who are emotionally healthy can accurately identify what they are feeling, even under stress. Emotionally healthy people use their understanding of their emotions to make rational decisions instead of allowing their feelings to take control of their behavior. In this course you will learn that emotional health is not about pushing away or trying to stop emotions but instead understanding that you can learn a great deal from feeling these emotions and that they serve a purpose in your life.
